Marriott International has recognized High Hotels Ltd.’s TownePlace Suites - Harrisburg West as its Hotel of the Year. The TownePlace was awarded the prestigious top honor from among the more than 350 hotels worldwide. The award was announced and presented during Marriott’s Annual Select Brand General Manager Conference recently held in Chicago, Illinois.
To qualify for the award, eligible hotels must meet rigorous criteria, and be in the top five percent of the brand for “intent to recommend,” a key measure of guest satisfaction. In addition, they must comply with strict brand inspection standards and meet top performance thresholds for revenue and also show at least 10 percent year-over-year revenue growth.
“We’re thrilled and honored to be the TownePlace Suites Hotel of the Year,” said Russ Urban, president, High Hotels. “This really is a testament to our organization’s focus on creating legendary experiences for our guests. Congratulations to general manager David Jacobs and his team for this well-deserved recognition.”
The TownePlace Suites - Harrisburg West was also honored with Marriott’s Diamond Circle Award and Guest Satisfaction Survey Problem Incident resolution award. Other High Hotels Ltd. properties were also recognized: SpringHill Suites by Marriott - Allentown, Gold Circle Award; Courtyard by Marriott - Lancaster and SpringHill Suites by Marriott - Mt. Laurel, N.J., SilverCircle Award.
High Hotels opened the TownePlace Suites - Harrisburg West in 2014 on Ritter Road in the Rossmoyne Business Center in Mechanicsburg, Pa., which is home to more than 125 businesses. The moderately priced 120-room hotel is designed to meet the needs of the growing segment of “do-it-yourself” travelers – guests who want more than a place to stay when they’re away from home; they want a place to live.
The TownePlace Suites by Marriott offers guests convenient access to the Harrisburg Capital Region and to HersheyPark, and provides easy access to Exit 236 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Rates vary depending on the length of stay. For more information or reservations, contact High Hotels directly at 717-293-4446 or visit http://www.HighHotels.com. High Hotels also operates a Homewood Suites by Hilton and a Hampton Inn in Rossmoyne.
Now in its 30th year in business, High Hotels will open a newly constructed Residence Inn by Marriott later this month in The Crossings at Conestoga Creek mixed-used development in Lancaster, Pa. The Crossings is a development of High Real Estate Group LLC, of which High Hotels Ltd. is an affiliate.
