High HotelsLtd. is owned by High Family Capital and as such, self-funds its development and aquisitions. We do not require outside capital, allowing High Hotels to be nimble and entrepreneurial in its approach. 

Development Criteria

Successful development begins with strategic site and brand selection, and it is through this lens that we constantly evaluate new locations. We achieve tremendous success by adhering to a proven formula and considering sites that meet the following criteria:

- Growing, diverse base of corporate demand generators

- Leisure demand component for weekend travelers

- Moderate barriers to entry for competitive hotels

- Proximate restaurants, retail shopping, and other support amenities

- Pro-growth local government environment

- Convenient, logical access to major highway infrastructure

- Visibility from major thoroughfares

- Minimum 2.0 acres per property


Acquisition Criteria

We also remain interested in acquiring and operating high-quality, well-located assets that meet the following criteria:

- Hilton or Marriott select-service or extended-stay brands


- Potential to convert to one of the aforementioned brands

- Preferably high quality, concrete block construction

- Less than ten years old

- Preference for location in DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, CT ,and VA

- 100-200 guestrooms
